Overview
A Dual Media Filter (DMF) is an advanced filtration system designed to remove suspended solids, turbidity, colloidal particles, and fine impurities from water. The filter utilizes two different filtration media layers, typically Anthracite and Silica Sand, providing higher dirt-holding capacity, longer filtration cycles, and superior filtration efficiency compared to conventional sand filters.
