Tube Settler Clarifier
Overview
A Tube Settler Clarifier is a high-efficiency clarification system designed to enhance the settling of suspended solids by utilizing multiple inclined tube modules. The tube settlers increase the effective settling surface area, allowing faster particle separation, higher hydraulic loading rates, and significantly reduced footprint compared to conventional clarifiers.
Tube Settler Clarifiers are widely used in WTP, ETP, STP, CETP, RO Pretreatment, and Industrial Process Water Treatment Systems for efficient solid-liquid separation and clarification.
Treatment Process Flow
Raw Water / Effluent → Coagulation & Flocculation → Tube Settler Clarifier → Clarified Water Collection → Filtration / Further Treatment
Working Principle
The influent enters the clarification zone and flows upward through inclined tube modules. Suspended particles settle onto the tube surfaces and slide downward into the sludge collection hopper due to gravity. Clarified water rises through the tubes and is collected through overflow launders.
The increased settling area provided by the tube modules significantly improves clarification efficiency while minimizing space requirements.
